he does not have the balls too admit it in public. I'm still reeling from his post at 14:49 this afternoon. He has admitted it publicly and then some. A defining moment in usenet history I reckon. If we had an end of year review and prizegiving ceremony that one would take the gong. Jon would be second with his abhorrision when he multiple posted joe's a twat and get out the GLA group or whatever it was. It's been an eventful year that's for sure.

A basic statement of truth... if Glasgow airport moved to Turnhouse, we could have a truly convenient/accessible Scottish gateway. Not too late for BAA to sell it's Abbottsinch site, grab the cash and concentrate on  making Turnhouse a national airport for Scotland. Prestwick will 'win' the battle for the west irrespective of local politics, tribalism , 'fixes' etc; Time for commonsense to prevail, accept the inevitable and move into the 22nd. century. BAA of course must ensure it doesn't repeat the mistakes it made at Prestwick, Abbotsinch should be sold minus the runway infrastructure. Joe, With EK,AAL,ACA,US,PIA,TSC,TCX,MYT,AMM,BY,COA,ZOOM,MON,(BWIA????)all operating laung haul flights I wouldnt think BAA would sell Scotlands long haul gateway that quickly. Prestwick i`m sure will win the Euro battle of the west if BAA dont get there finger out for the Euro disaster at Abbotsinch. Cheerz Kris I've only been looking at these boards for a few months but in that time I've been surprised at how Mr Tupper has descended into a sea of Curry inspired drivel. He used to post a reasonable, if somewhat biased viewpoint. Now he is happy to defend the indefensible having lost the plot somewhere along the way. Mr JC has an official sidekick. Tupper the nutter has a nice ring to it. Gusty

Time for commonsense to prevail, accept the inevitable and move into the 22nd. century. BAA of course must ensure it doesn't repeat the mistakes it made at Prestwick, Abbotsinch should be sold minus the runway infrastructure. BAA would be fools to even consider selling GLA or EDI. They were foolish enough to sell PIK... ( View my aircraft pictures: http://www.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?userid=1753

Prestwick i`m sure will win the Euro battle of the west if BAA dont get there finger out for the Euro disaster at Abbotsinch. I doubt BAA will alienate regular airlines by reducing charges at GLA for no-frills, look at the near 'disaster' at BFS a few years back...  I think that if we accept that there is a case for a Central Scotland Airport at its proposed site (Skinflats) then it follows that the EDI site, only 15 minutes or so away must have very similar merits. Geography being on EDI's side..... ) View my aircraft pictures: http://www.jetphotos.net/showphotos.php?userid=1753
