Responsibilities: The Sourcing Specialists responsibilities include: ? Project Management ? With the guidance of senior management, take on the responsibility for projects. Contribute to identification of _object_ives, deliverables, plans, timelines, needs, and budget. Drive project activity through the communication of expectations, enforcement of deadlines, and creation and evaluation of deliverables. Set corrective action plans and implement contingency plans as needed. Demonstrate the ability to put a structured sourcing process into action in formal and informal negotiations, and leverage the process to resolve conflicts and build consensus. Conduct negotiations with suppliers and work closely with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure interests are addressed, conflicts are resolved, and successful conclusions are reached. Achieve a financial savings target, jointly defined with management, during each fiscal year. ? Contract Management ? Proactively seek information on similar, relevant, past agreements and apply such information to optimize current results. Maintain a working knowledge of relationships and agreements with assigned suppliers.
