She is Miss Oregon 2007 and will carry on the great tradition started by Donilee McGinnis, Miss Oregon 2006, at the rally last year! A 2005 graduate of Azusa Pacific University, Kari Virding. Miss Oregon 2007, is a young professional with dedication and drive. Through participation in state and local pageants in the Miss America Organization Kari has gained over $15,000 in college scholarships, allowing her to pursue her Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership. Having worked in the non-profit sector for the past 2 years, Kari Virding plans on utilizing her education to run a non- profit organization. As a volunteer wish grantor with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Kari has discovered a passion for working with children and young adults with life-threatening medical conditions.
