      Mactan Cebu International Airport, Jan. 31 (PNA) - Chartered flights are now arriving here from the province of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, according to Prime Abellana of the Manila Integrated Airport Services Corp. a ground handling agency.      Abellana,  said  direct flights between Mactan and Taipei had also started last January 19 that will continue up to February 3.      It is the first time for Kaohsiung flights to land at the Mactan airport.      The chartered flights between Mactan and Taiwan are being managed by U-Land Airlines _base_d in Taipei.      The flights carry an average of 122 passengers from Kaohsiung and Taipei while more than 100 passengers depart from Mactan to Kaohsiung and Taipei.      Ahmed Cuizon, public affairs officer of the airport, said that chartered flights from Taiwan would boost the tourism industry of Cebu.      Aside from the January 19 arrival from Taipei there also flights on January 23, 25, 26, 28 and 30.      Scheduled flights from Kaohsiung were on January 22, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31.      The flighs from Kaoshiung depart at 3:00 p.m. and arrive in Mactan at 5:30 p.m. They leave Mactan at 6:30 p.m. and arrive in Kaohsiung at 9:00 p.m.      The flights from Taipei depart at 11;00 a.m. and arrive in Mactan at 2:30 p.m.      They depart Mactan at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Taipei at 5:00 p.m. (PNA) MB/EB/BH PNA 01310702
