Contact:       Brian Card Phone:         703-866-4600 Fax:           703-995-4752 De_script_ion:   Project Background / Introduction / Scope The Prime Contractor is under contract with the Federal Government to build and deploy a web _base_d applications infrastructure.  Entergrators, Inc. is a sub-contractor on this project. Contractor provides architectural, engineering, build/implementation, DBA, new application integration assistance and support services.  It also provides initial operations support on a 24 x 7 operational basis.  Operational efforts support trouble reporting, configuration management, and ensure ongoing system integrity, reliability and security of the infrastructure. The Statement of Work stipulates that the contractor will collaborate with the Federal Government to provide a state-of-the-art, Enterprise Application Integration _frame_work that seamlessly integrates business partners and other external applications and provides a high degree of availability and reliability. The build out of the infrastructure is being conducted in multiple phases. •     Phase I implemented support for the first two Web-_base_d applications at a single, fully redundant production site. •     Phase II implements a second fully redundant, geographically diversified site, where both sites will support an additional 3-5 applications, and load balancing of user access during phase II.  A third site has also been built to support the testing/QA needs of the infrastructure development community. •     Phase III implements data replication between production sites, adds additional applications to the platform, provides for single site management of all sites and incorporates further platform services to the infrastructure clientele. •     Phase IV has continued the build out of the infrastructure.  Proximity sites have been built to facilitate dynamic real time redundancy between live production sites.  The number of applications either in production or planning for production now totals 17.  Further expansion of the platform is anticipated. Services or Detailed Task/Work Requirements Specific duties include: 1)      Candidate will support the infrastructure in compiling detailed documentation to include a Lighthouse deployment guide, Lighthouse template samples, and Lighthouse auditing procedures. 2)      Candidate will possess a strong understanding of Identity and Access Management. 3)      Candidate will be experienced in deployment of role-_base_d system access controls. 4)      Candidate will work to provide enhanced functionality of common infrastructure Lighthouse capabilities. 5)      Provide integration support with Entrust.   6)      Candidate will be providing initial Lighthouse deployment support for all applications in the various environments (Production, Functional Test and QA).  As each of the Lighthouse applications is brought into the environment, it is anticipated that there will be a certain level of debugging and coordination required.  It is the responsibility of the candidate to work with the third party software vendor to successfully resolve these issues in a professional and timely manner. 7)      Coordination and deployment of Lighthouse software in the infrastructure will occur through an existing version control system.  Currently, project templates are stored in a CVS server.  A decision has been made to move to Telelogic’s “Synergy” CM software.  Candidate’s knowledge of this software is a plus.  Specific tasking using the new Doors CM tool includes: o       Implementing Lighthouse version control. o       Providing current templates and packages to 3rd party developers. o       Using Doors to establish common code promotion procedures from QA to Production.         Technical Skill Requirements:         Skills with the following software, operating systems and products: o       Strong Sun Solaris Unix skills o       Waveset Lighthouse o       Netegrity Siteminder o       J2EE o       _xml_ o       Sun One Directory Server o       BEA WebLogic         Familiarity with the following: •     Architectures o       Java J2EEE (EJB, JDBC, JSP and JMS) o       TCP/IP •     Application Servers o       BEA WebLogic o       WebSphere o       IBM MQ Integrator o       IBM MQ Series o       Oracle o       IBM DB2 o       iPlanet Web Server o       iPlanet Directory Server o       DNS o       Netegrity •     Systems / Systems Management o       Veritas Netbackup client o       Veritas Volume Manager Storage Administrator o       Veritas Volume Manager o       Veritas Cluster Server o       Tivoli Enterprise Console o       Tivoli Software Distribution Manager o       BMC Patrol o       BMC Predict o       BMC Control SA o       Remedy ARS o       Enterasys Dragon •     Operating Systems o       Trusted Solaris o       Solaris         Desirable Certifications o       CISSP         Product Knowledge         The following products are also deployed in the infrastructure.  Knowledge and experience with these is not required, but is a plus. •     IDS (host _base_d and network _base_d) – Preferred experience with Enterasys Dragon. •     Firewalls - Place and Period of Performance •     Principal place of performance shall be in the Northern Virginia (Metro DC) area. •     Periodic overtime will be required. •     New hire must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends and night shifts. •     Travel requirements to client locations are estimated at 10%.
