seminole indians' Q: Seminole Wind by John Anderson
Are there any fans of John Anderson out there?  While on holiday in the States I heard his song _Seminole Wind_ on the radio and was instantly taken by it.  I didn't get the chance to check out his recordings while in America but have succeeded in getting his 1992 CD _Seminole Wind_ as in import here in a Virgin megastore in Ireland.   The CD is on the BMG Music label: BNA07863 61029-2. However I was slightly disappointed to find that the recording of _Seminole Wind_ on this album doesn't quite live up to my aural memories of first hearing it on the radio. Does anyone know if there are different recordings of it going about?  Perhaps a single or 12 ?  The ending on this album version peeters (sp?) away into a slow piano bit at the end, whereas I recall the rousing fiddle carrying it through on the version I heard. Thanks Gerry Mulvenna ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) Belfast, Ireland
