   Kana leaned back against the stern of the ship.  The sky was clear, unlike his mind.  He kept thinking of the past few days.  Of the revelation of his Elven mother, then being banished from his homeland by the King, his own father.  All he could hope for now was to find a pleasent place where he could learn more of the Druidic ways, come to terms with his father's betrayal, and learn as much as possible.    An island hove into view ahead of them.  The ship's Captain approached Kana.     This is where you leave, Elf-Prince.  He spat out the words as though he hated their taste.  No one in Kana's kingdom wanted to associate in any way with half-breeds, and he hoped this new land would be more welcoming to his kind.   There is a raft in the water for you.    Kana climbed over the rail, landing on the raft, nearly tipping it over.  He untied the paddles and began paddling toward the island.  As he approached the island, he seemed to hear loud, obnoxious laughter from the ship behind.  Something didn't seem right.  He looked at the sky to see what time it was. 'Hey, it was noon hours ago!' Kana thought to himself.  Something was definately wrong.  He checked his possessions.   Al he had were is staff and dagger, plus the piece of mistletoe tied around his neck.  Everything seemed to be in order.    Landing near a town, Kana abondoned the raft.  He walked into the town, but it was no longer noon.  A huge rock above blocked out the sun so that it seemed that it was dusk in the town.  Kana headed straight for the Inn, needing a good rest after his exile. ~~~    In the morning, Kana woke.  It was still dusk.     What the hell is this?? he asked alou, although there was nobody to answer him.    Kana left his room to get some food.  Young men needed their food.   At breakfast, he noticed a party of three.  The two men seemed as though   they were also new to this place, but the woman, a half-elf,  like himself, obviously knew what she was doing.  He thought maybe she can help him, so decided to introduce himslef to the group.  He walked over to their table.     Good, er, uh, morning, I think, Kana started, rather nervouly, I am Kana Mordecai-Seri, I am knew here.  Perhaps you could help me?
