Hi, I just received a baby red eared slider turtle as a present .  His habitat set up consists of a 10 gal aquarium w/submersible filter and a light fixture with a 40 watt red full spectrum/60 watt blue full spectrum and a 100 watt fluorescent full spectrum. I set up some rocks for him to bask in the light during the day. The reptile specialist at the pet store told me to keep the red light on during the night.  This is supposed to keep the turtle warm. Is the red light necessary at night?  Or will it interfere with his sleep? Thank You, Diane
